Lawton, OK, January 12, 2018 — Fidelity Communications is excited to announce the arrival of powerful one-Gigabit (1Gbps) fiber data service to Invitational and Avendale apartment complexes in the city of Lawton, Oklahoma. This marks the completion of a three-phase project to bring fiber to three of Lawton's apartment complexes: Crosby Park, Invitational, and Avendale apartments. Conversations between the property management and Fidelity Communications began in 2015, after the company was approached by apartment owners seeking a solution to lacking infrastructure.
This advanced service is available to apartment residents at an introductory cost of $84.99 per month for the first year of service, pending credit approval. The service includes fiber internet, cable TV, and home phone options. The higher speeds support multiple video streams, high-end online gaming, unlimited wireless devices and rapid transfer of huge data files, along with the capability to handle bandwidth-draining applications.
"We are very pleased to bring the latest in technology advancements to Lawton," said Brian Alldredge, General Manager of Fidelity Communications in Lawton. "Fidelity is committed to adding value to the communities we serve. Installing fiber cables is a long-term commitment to the growth and enrichment of this part of our market."
Fidelity engaged a team of 16 full-time employees for the engineering, design, and construction of the project, connecting over 700 apartment units with new hardware and fiber cable. Fidelity is also expanding its fiber footprint in communities across the Midwest, and building facilities in additional residential areas to deliver reliable and affordable high-speed Internet, video and phone service. Fiber to the home (FTTH) is the most reliable data transfer technology available for residents and more energy efficient for the community.
