Fidelity Wins Top Awards for Marketing Efforts
SULLIVAN, MISSOURI, July 18, 2013—Fidelity Communications Company received multiple national recognitions for its marketing efforts during the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association) PR and Marketing conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, July 16-17.
NTCA, a national trade association based in Washington, D.C., which represents the interests of rural, independent telephone companies (telcos) and cooperatives, honors the year's best work in rural independent telco marketing and public relations through its annual TeleChoice Awards program. The TeleChoice Awards recognize excellence in NTCA member company annual reports, customer newsletters, print publications and marketing campaigns.
The competition is open to all NTCA telco members, and Fidelity is one of more than 570 member companies of NTCA. Each main category (single target print publications, annual reports, customer newsletters and complete marketing campaigns) consists of three divisions, based on access lines served by the entrant.
At the NTCA PR and Marketing Conference Fidelity received a First Place award in the category for In-House production among companies with access lines of 10,000 or more in the complete Marketing Campaign category for its bundled package, The Fidelity Power Pack, which includes a combination of residential phone, Internet and television services.
In addition, a second First Place award was presented to Fidelity for their In-House production of their website (www.fidelitycommunications.com). One judge commenting, “Fidelity’s website was like Amazon.com for ordering Telco Services.”
The entries were judged based on the goals, creative strategy, media tactics and communication mediums. This included the marketing research, which evaluates new and emerging technologies and services, all print ads, brochures, newsletters, press releases and Web site promotion of bundles, the customer service promotion and the campaign’s sales results.
Fidelity Communications is a family-owned Internet, Cable TV and phone company headquartered in Sullivan, Missouri. Fidelity has been providing services in Missouri for more than 70 years, and in Lawton, Oklahoma for the past five years. With the purchase of 14 systems in Missouri, Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana last year, Fidelity now provides services to around 60,000 customers in five states.
