Fidelity One-Day Event Pays Residents for Unreturned Equipment
LAWTON, OKLAHOMA, March 4, 2013—Wanted: Old unreturned Fidelity Cable and Internet equipment.
Former Fidelity Communications customers who have old equipment lying around will soon have a chance to get some money for it. The Lawton office will host an equipment drive on Saturday, March 9, in an effort to recover some of those old cable boxes and modems.
For every piece of equipment returned, the person returning it will receive a $15 Visa Gift Card, no questions asked. Excluded are remote controls, and anything that does not belong to Fidelity. Returned equipment must be in good shape. If the returned equipment is past due, Fidelity will also zero out the account and still give the returner a gift card—no questions asked.
"We're very excited about the potential for reaching out to people and getting some of this old equipment back," said Lawton Office Manager Donna Mahan. "We hope this equipment drive is a great success. It's something we'll do again if it works."
Hours of the equipment drive are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Lawton office is on the corner of 9th & D Avenue.
"This is a great way to earn some extra money and get rid of that old equipment you're not using anymore," Mahan said.
