NBCU Rebrands Style Network as Esquire in All Markets
SULLIVAN, MISSOURI, October 31, 2013—NBCUniversal recently rebranded the Style Network as the Esquire Network, affecting the channel lineup in several Fidelity markets.
The change was effective in late September and was made nationwide. Fidelity offers what is now the Esquire Network in Rolla, Sullivan, Gerald, New Haven, Owensville, Lebanon, Salem, El Dorado Springs, Harrisonville, Nevada and West Plains, Missouri; Lawton, Oklahoma; Maumelle, Shannon Hills and Hardy, Arkansas; Atlanta, Carthage and Marshall, Texas; and New Roads, Louisiana, in the channel slot previously occupied by Style.
“We don’t want our customers to think we dropped the Style Network,” said Rachel Steinkiste, Product Manager of Video Services. “NBCUniversal simply changed the Style Network to the Esquire Network. Esquire contains all new content and a completely new brand, and we hope our customers like it.”
Esquire Network is a lifestyle and entertainment network featuring programming that speaks to classic and contemporary passions and interests, from fashion and style to food and drink, travel and women and relationships.
Building on Esquire’s 80 years of insight into what makes men tick, the network debuted September 23 in 75 million homes nationwide, as well as online, mobile, On Demand, and other platforms.
Esquire Network is a partnership between NBCUniversal and Hearst Magazines, and is a unit of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, a division of NBCUniversal.
