Post-season High School Basketball is happening now!!

Local high schools are now entering post-season basketball. New Haven Shamrocks are hosting the Class 2 District 5 tournaments at New Haven High School . This ladies tournament started last Saturday Feb 18th with 3 games. The Lady Shamrocks are seeded first in this tournament and therefore did not play til Tuesday Feb 21st. They faced off in the semifinals against Silex Lady Owls and move on to play in the Championship game against Elsberry Lady Indians on Friday Feb 24th at 5:30p. The men started on Monday Feb 20th with 4 games and the Shamrocks took over Crystal City to move on to tonight's semifinal game at 5:30p against McKinley Classical Leadership. The winner of tonight will play in the championship game on Friday Feb 24th at 7pm. 

The Osage Indians will host the Class 4 District 11 tournaments that includes the Owensville Dutchmen, Salem Tigers, and Rolla Bulldogs. These tournaments will start this Saturday at 2:30p with Rolla Lady Bulldogs taking on the Helias Lady Crusaders followed by the Owensville Lady Dutchmen against the Salem Lady Tigers. It will be the men's turn after that with Salem v Owensville at 5:30p. Winners of Saturday will then move onto play in the semifinals on Monday and Tuesday at 5:30p and 7p. We will see the Rolla bulldogs in the semifinals on Tuesday at 7p. The Championship games will be played on Thursday March 2nd.

The St. Clair Bulldogs host the Class 4 District 6 boys and girls tournaments that include the Sullivan Eagles. The tournament starts on Feb 25th with 4 games - 2 girls and 2 boys. With Sullivan taking high seeds, the Eagles will first play in the semifinals with the ladies on Monday Feb 27th at 7pm and the men on Tuesday Feb 28th at 5:30p. Winners will then move onto the Championship games that will be held of Friday March 3rd.
