"Little John" Rice

John C. "Little John" Rice is the general manager of Fidelity Broadcasting. John has been in the radio business on a regular basis for more than 30 years. He became a member of Fidelity's staff when it acquired KTUI in November of 1997.

John was a recipient of the Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce's Citizen of the Year Award and the 1996 Ambassador Award. He has also won many awards not only from the radio industry but also from his peers, including the 1996 Missouri Community College Association's Media Award of Excellence and the Sullivan Rotary Club Community Service Award.

His community involvement is proof of his commitment to the Sullivan area. John delivers meals on wheels every week for the Sullivan Community Center, and is very active in the Sullivan Rotary Club and the Meramec Community Fair, serving on the Fair Board each year.

Between them, John and his wife Nancy have eight children and four grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys riding his horses at every opportunity. You may hear John daily from 6 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on KTUI-AM 1560 or you can watch him perform live on Fidelity Channel 6.

Sam Scott

Sam Scott is KTUI's program director and resident "computer guru." He first joined the on-air staff straight out of high school in 1982. After a brief break to serve in the U.S. Air Force from 1983 to 1987, Sam returned to the KTUI airwaves to host a Sunday night show for several years while working as a missile electrician at McDonnell Douglas. He rejoined the staff full time in 1992.

A Sullivan native, Sam is proud to be an active member of the community. He teaches Tae Kwon Do at the Sullivan Athletic Club (watch out, he's a black belt). He is a member of the Sullivan Community Choir. Sam also serves on the Meramec Community Fair Board, and is chairman of the Board of Adjustment for the City of Sullivan. In addition, he teaches beginning guitar at Westgate Music.

Sam and his wife Michelle have two sons. In his spare time, he chases their boys around various sporting events. He has his pilot's license and enjoys flying, but says it's a very expensive hobby so he doesn't do it often. To help out those less computer-friendly, Sam repairs and rebuilds computers not only for co-workers at KTUI, but also for friends and family that want to save a dime.

Perry Allen

Perry Allen is the music director for KTUI. He got his start in radio at KTUI in 1984. From there, he moved around the radio dial to stations in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Columbia, Waynesville, Warrenton and Washington, Missouri, as well as a stint on the East Coast. Listeners to those stations would remember him as Matt Walker. He returned to KTUI in 1993.

Perry enjoys programming music for his hometown, as well as the feedback he gets from listeners. He is constantly trying to expose the KTUI listening audience to the "next big thing" in country music. He likes being able to play exactly what this listening community wants to hear, rather than "cookie cutter" country music like some of the bigger stations.

In his spare time, Perry enjoys lifting weights, reading, riding bikes and working on the family farm in Anaconda. Traveling is also high on his list, especially to Hawaii. And being in the radio business, naturally, Perry loves to go to concerts and sporting events.

Bob Cosgrove

Bob started his radio career in 1952, broadcasting with the American Forces Network in Germany while stationed there with the United Stated Navy. After a long hiatus from radio, Bob returned to broadcasting in 1967 with KDIG in La Jolla, CA. after retiring from the Navy. He joined KTUI in 1980.

Currently, Bob is a morning commentary on KTUI 1560AM and sports announcer on KTUI 102.1FM. He has announced everything from basketball, baseball and football to golf, volleyball and tractor pulls. "I believe the most memorable times I have had while working at KTUI would be announcing the state championship games for basketball, softball and baseball."

Bob is a graduate and former athlete of Sullivan High School. He currently lives in Sullivan with his wife, Elvy. He spends his spare time golfing and fishing.

Paige Hulsey

Paige Hulsey grew up in Sullivan listening to "Little John" on the radio. In high school, she worked as a board operator for sporting events at KTUI. After graduating from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School, Paige began co-hosting the morning shows with John, Sam, and Bob. Paige now attends Drake University and is majoring in Broadcast News.

She loves living in Des Moines, Iowa and is active in Drake Sports Broadcasting Crew, Drake Relays Telecast, and Drake Women's Rowing team. Paige also loves traveling north every summer with her family to their cabin in Ontario, Canada. She still enjoys joining "the boys" on the radio when she returns to her hometown of Sullivan, Missouri on school breaks.
