I had Fidelity in 2011 and I have it again currently since December 2013. I had to cancel due to moving out of service area, but once I was back in the area I got back on Fidelity and due to me leaving on good standing (no late bills, I returned all my equipment) I was not required to pay any deposits when I signed back up with them. Fidelity Communications is owned by Cable One, Inc., a leading broadband communications provider serving more than 900,000 residential and business customers in 21 states through its Sparklight™ and Clearwave brands.
Cable One acquired Fidelity Communications from the Davis family in October 2019. The Davis family originally purchased the Fidelity Telephone Co. in 1940, and Fidelity Communications prospered under the direction of the late John T. Davis and his children.
Prior to being acquired by Cable One, Fidelity Communications made five acquisitions over the last two decades, including three in the last seven years that grew its subscriber base exponentially. Over the past five years, Fidelity more than doubled in size.
After decades as a local and long-distance phone company, Fidelity Communications began growing in 1992 when it purchased the Rolla cable system. It launched its Sullivan cable system in 1999 and acquired systems in Lebanon, Missouri in 2006, Salem, Missouri in 2007 and Lawton, Oklahoma in 2008. In early 2012, Fidelity Communications acquired 14 data, video and voice systems in four states from CoBridge Communications.
Fidelity provides residential and business services currently within certain communities in the states of Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas.
