Emergency Broadband Benefit Program

Fidelity Communications is proud to participate in the FCC Emergency Broadband Benefit program in an effort to help provide fast and reliable connectivity to customers who have been financially impacted during the pandemic. We are committed to narrowing the digital divide, and the FCC Emergency Broadband Benefit aligns with our purpose of keeping customers and communities connected to loved ones, work and school during this challenging time.

About Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB)

The Emergency Broadband Benefit is a temporary FCC program to help households struggling to pay for Internet service during the pandemic. The program will provide a monthly discount of up to $50 per household towards broadband service for eligible households.

This program is available to both current and new Fidelity Internet Customers.


Easy 3 Step Process to Obtain Your Emergency Broadband Benefit

Apply to see if you qualify at GetEmergencyBroadband.org. Most approvals are within seconds/minutes.

*If you are already a Lifeline Phone or Internet customer, you may skip Step #2 and proceed to Step #3.

Once approved and qualified, please contact a Customer Service Representative by calling 1-800-392-8070 to complete your EBB Program discounts and sign up for service.

Eligibility:

A household is eligible for the Emergency Broadband Benefit program if one member of the household currently participates in one of these federal assistance programs or experienced substantial loss of income since February 29, 2020:

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

  • Medicaid

  • Federal Public Housing Assistance

  • Trible-specific programs: Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribally-Administered Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TTANF), Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), Head Start

  • Income at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines

  • Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit Programs

  • Approved for free or reduced lunch program through USDA Community Eligibility Provision

  • Experienced substantial loss of income since Feb 29, 2020 (<$99K for single; <$198K for join)

  • Received Pell Grant in current award year
