Multi-Gig internet is Fidelity’s newest, ultra-fast internet service that delivers reliably fast internet for the rapidly increasing number of connected devices in your home, next-level gaming, virtual work and school and the ability to upload large files in just seconds.

We’re confident you’ll love multi-gig speeds! Multi-Gig service may be faster than your computer and network’s capability. Old equipment and connections often run at speeds slower than a Multi-Gig service. Customers subscribed to 2 Gbps speeds who have optimum hardware and connections should expect wired speed up to 2 Gbps download.

The speeds of our Multi-Gig service may be greater than what today’s WiFi systems can deliver. The speeds you’ll receive vary based on the type of WiFi protocol (G/N/AC), the device being used to access the internet and the distance between the WiFi antenna and your device.
Customers with WiFi 6 equipment (Wall-to-Wall WiFi) and WiFi 6 Compatible devices should be able to get up to 1.3Mbps via WiFi.

An approved DOCSIS 3.1 modem with at minimum a 2.5 Gig port is required for Multi-Gig service. This type of modem is available as part of Fidelity’s Wall-to-Wall service* from Fidelity or customers may bring their own DOCSIS 3.1 modem obtained from 3rd party retailers when available. Fidelity has a list of supported modems on the Fidelity Support Site at support.fidelitycommunications.com under Supported Modems. Customers with their own home router should confirm it is capable of multi-gig speeds.
