Fidelity Awards $2,500 to Lebanon High School for STEM Education
'Dream Bigger’ Social Media Campaign supports K-12 science, technology, engineering, and math projects
April 24, 2023 – Lebanon, Mo. – Fidelity Communications today announced Lebanon High School is a winner of its fifth annual “Dream Bigger” social media campaign, which awards $2,500 each to three schools and organizations providing K-12 students with STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education.
The STEM program at Lebanon High School provides students with the opportunity to drive their own scientific research projects, which develops valuable skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and communication. The award will help provide necessary equipment and supplies.
“Each of our students takes on the task of developing a unique experiment in their STEM field of interest and presenting it at regional, state, national, and sometimes even international competitions,” said teacher Ryne Emerick. “With the support of this funding, our students are empowered to pursue scientific inquiries that can have a positive impact on their community and the world. We are grateful for this opportunity to continue promoting a passion for science and enabling the next generation of innovators to dream bigger."

Contestants submitted a written entry outlining how the award would be used to fund their STEM projects and how the projects benefit students, and winners were determined by public voting and will be highlighted on Fidelity’s social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram.
Since 2019, Fidelity Communications and the associated Cable One family of brands have awarded nearly $120,000 through its Dream Bigger initiative.
