Fidelity Communications Awards $1,000 Grant to New Roads Nonprofit H.O.P.E. Ministry of Pointe Coupee

February 17, 2022 – New Roads, LA Fidelity Communications, a member of the Cable One family of brands, recently awarded a $1,000 grant to H.O.P.E. Ministry of Pointe Coupee through the company’s Charitable Giving Fund. Through this program, the company awarded more than $100,000 in grants during the winter of 2021 to 32 nonprofit organizations across its 24-state footprint.

H.O.P.E. Ministry of Pointe Coupee, which provides services to meet the basic or critical needs of the citizens of Pointe Coupee Parish who find themselves in unfortunate circumstances, received the grant from Fidelity to help supply its food pantry with additional food for those in need.

"H.O.P.E. Ministry operates the only food pantry in Pointe Coupee Parish that is open four days a week and aims to provide clients with additional protein enriched foods," said Walter Warr Jr., H.O.P.E. Ministry of Pointe Coupee Board President. "Thanks to the funding from this grant we're able to supply more food for our food pantry and provide the extra nutritional needs to meet the monthly food demand of our clients' households."

The Charitable Giving Fund annually awards more than $200,000 in grants to local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations served by Fidelity and the other Cable One family of brands (Sparklight®, ValuNet Fiber, and Hargray), and concentrates support in the following priority areas:

Nonprofit organizations will have the opportunity to apply for a grant during open application periods each spring and fall. Applications for spring 2022 grants will open between April 1 -30, 2022.
