Fidelity Communications Invests $1.5 Million to Upgrade Nevada Network

February 4, 2021 – Nevada, MO – Fidelity Communications will begin construction in mid-February on a $1.5 million upgrade to its robust, fiber-rich network in Nevada.

The project will further strengthen the reliability of Fidelity's high-speed internet service, while also preparing for the future connectivity needs of the Nevada community.

"Fidelity understands that now, more than ever, fast and reliable internet service is critical in keeping our customers connected to loved ones, work, school, and entertainment," said Sam McGill, Fidelity's Missouri General Manager. "As consumer data consumption increases and multi-device households become the norm, we are continuing to invest in a network that will support our customers and the communities we serve – now and in the future."

Work on these upgrades is expected to be completed in late summer. The company anticipates the possibility of brief, intermittent service interruptions during construction. Notification will be sent to customers prior to work being conducted in their area. An up-to-date construction map will also be available online - https://www.fidelitycommunications.com/atwork-nevada.
